Overview

Telnyx SMS integration enables your Callers text campaigns to send and receive text messages through the Telnyx messaging platform. Telnyx offers competitive per-message pricing, high throughput, and global carrier connectivity - making it an excellent choice for large-scale text campaigns.
If you already have Telnyx connected for SIP voice campaigns, you can use the same account for text campaigns. You will need to ensure your numbers have messaging capability enabled.

For US messaging, Telnyx supports local numbers, toll-free numbers, and short codes. Local numbers require 10DLC registration for A2P messaging.

Step 4: Register for 10DLC (US Numbers)

If you are sending SMS to US phone numbers using a local (10-digit) number, you must register for A2P 10DLC. Contact our support team for help with the registration process.

  2. Navigate to the App Center tab in the left sidebar.
  3. Find the Telnyx integration and click Connect.

A Telnyx Messaging Profile is automatically created when you save a text campaign with a selected Telnyx phone number. No manual setup is required.

Compliance and Opt-Out Management

Callers handles SMS compliance automatically when using Telnyx:
  • STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE: Contacts who reply STOP are automatically opted out.
  • HELP: Contacts who reply HELP receive your configured help response.

Troubleshooting
