Before you start
- An active CommPeak account with access to the CommPeak portal.
- From CommPeak: your SIP server address, SIP username and password, and a tech prefix if your account uses one. Ask your CommPeak account manager if you’re unsure.
Step 1: Set up a SIP account in CommPeak
1
Create a SIP account
In the CommPeak portal, go to Setup → SIP Accounts and add a SIP account. Note the username and password.
2
Get numbers
Buy or assign the numbers you want to use, and route them to your SIP account.
3
Route inbound calls to Callers
For inbound calls, ask CommPeak to send calls for your numbers to
sip.callers.ai, and get the IP addresses CommPeak sends calls from.Step 2: Add the SIP connection in Callers
Go to App Center → SIP Integration → + and fill in:
Add an Outgoing gateway with the SIP server address CommPeak gave you (for example
sip.commpeak.com), port 5060, protocol UDP. For inbound, add an Incoming gateway for each CommPeak IP address.
Click Next and add your numbers in E.164 format.
Step 3: Test
- Open the connection and click Test SIP to place an outbound test call. A 200 result means CommPeak accepted the call.
- Assign a number to an incoming agent and call it to test inbound.
